World's 10 Tallest Roller Coasters

No 10: Goliath - Six Flags Magic Mountain, Valencia, Calif. - 235 feet. Any roller coaster enthusiast will be quick to tell you that bigger is not necessarily better when it comes to riding the rails. Bigger is, however, definitely more terrifying. Here's a list of the world's tallest roller coasters, ranked by size. First stop: Goliath, reaches a speed of 85 mph. Despite its height, it includes a 255-foot drop, thanks to an underground tunnel.

No 9: Silver Star - Europa-Park, Rust, Germany - 240 feet. Silver Star is the tallest roller coaster in Europe, and exposes its riders to 4 Gs of force.

No 8: Titan - Six Flags Over Texas, Arlington, Texas - 245 feet. The Titan, which is almost identical to Goliath except bigger, includes a 540-degree helix twist and 2.8 million pounds of steel in its supports.

No 7: Eejanaika - Fuji-Q Highland, Fujiyoshida, Japan - 249 feet. Eejanaika's seats can rotate 360 degrees forward or backward in a controlled spin. There's some controversy over the Guinness Book of World Record's claim that it has the most inversions of any roller coaster in the world.

No 6: Fujiyama - Fuji-Q Highland, Fujiyoshida, Japan - 259 feet. The Fujiyama course is 6,709 feet long, and riders see it at 81 mph during its fastest point.

No 5: Thunder Dolphin - LaQua, Tokyo, Japan - 263 feet. Thunder Dolphin doesn't just go through the middle of a Ferris wheel, it also speeds through a hole in a building.

No 4: Millennium Force - Cedar Point, Sandusky, Ohio - 310 feet. Overlooking Lake Erie, Millennium Force utilizes an innovative cable lift system, and is regularly voted as roller-coaster enthusiasts' favorite ride.

No 3: Steel Dragon 2000 - Nagashima Spa Land, Nagashima, Japan - 318 feet. The Steel Dragon -- which opened in 2000, the Year of the Dragon, natch -- is the longest roller coaster in the world, at 8,133 feet and two inches long.

No 2: Top Thrill Dragster - Cedar Point, Sandusky, Ohio - 420 feet. Riders on this coaster are launched hydraulically, reaching a speed of 120 mph. When it opened, it had the highest drop of any coaster in the world -- 400 feet.

No 1: Kingda Ka - Six Flags Great Adventure, Jackson Township, New Jersey - 456 feet. It doesn't have "king" in its name for no reason. The Kingda Ka is the tallest and fastest roller coaster in the world, sending its riders on a 128-mph thrill ride

What are Sea-Monkeys ?

Okay, today's post features the most commercial and demanding product by fellow children, probably worldwide (depends on the productions) . Sea-Monkeys. What are they ? I mean, is it really a Monkey ? the "oouh-oouh, aah-ahh" kind that lives in a sea ? IS IT ? lol i bet gazzillion people who are exposed to this product pose the similar question. the answer is....... NO. sadly, we've been fooled. :( hahaha. okay, take that aside. you see, how does the name have anything to do with it ? Literally.

The resemblance of the animal's tail to Monkey and live in a salt water environment explained the ideas. Therefore, Sea-Monkeys are born. how weird. FYI, it's commercially introduced due to a high number of ant farm "breeders" back then. well, it's just business, nothing personal. ain't it ?

Okay, even by my own thoughts. My sister once owned these creatures. I only knew the name but never seen one before with my bare eyes. So, a direct thought would be Sea-Monkey = Monkeys live in water. LOL. No ain't what it is. I got frustrated when i saw the real thing. like "HEY! why aren't they look like a monkey?!" what i can read in my mind further is just "BUNCH OF LIARS!" lol. such a promising name but sigh. Okay, i must admit. It's still cute, though. but the thing is... i got disguised by their weird looks and the way they move. like OMG, EWW -.-" damn it. Like most people would say, though, is that... THE MAJOR SETBACK OF SEA-MONKEYS are.... They don't possess the similarity in them despite the name, the mascot and wtv it is told. The life span are just SO BRIEF. now you see it, now you don't. After finished the foods or wtv.. they'll die or idk. cuz i just can't recall what happened back there. all i wondered was "where the hell it went?" and oh, it's transparent and the feet moves super fast. so, that's the a little bit of ooouuwh/ewww. haha B-)

• The real name for this species is Artemia a.k.a Brine Shrimp which is a genus of Aquatic Crustaceans.
• The total length is usually about 8 millimetres (0.31 in)-10 millimetres (0.39 in) for the adult male and 10 millimetres (0.39 in)-12 millimetres (0.47 in) for the female, but the width of both sexes, including the legs, is about 4 millimetres (0.16 in)
• Harold von Braunhut first invented and introduced these Sea-Monkeys based on Brine Shrimp in 1957.
• It does not feed but consume their own energy reserves stored in the cyst while wild Brine Shrimps eats microscopic Planktonic-Algae.
• Cultured Brine Shrimps can also be fed particulate foods including yeast, wheat flour, soybean powder or egg yolk.
• These creatures undergo Cryptobiosis ( an ametabolic state of life entered by an organism in response to adverse environmental conditions such as desiccation, freezing, and oxygen deficiency) – often sold in hatching kits as novelty aquarium pets.
• All metabolic procedures stop, preventing reproduction, development, and repair during this period. An organism in a Cryptobiotic state can essentially live indefinitely until environmental conditions return to being hospitable. When this occurs, the organism will return to its metabolic state of life as it was prior to the Cryptobiosis.
• While in Cryptobiosis, Brine Shrimp eggs can survive temperatures of liquid air (−190 °C or −310.0 °F) and a small percentage can survive above boiling temperature (105 °C or 221 °F) for up to two hours. Once placed in briny (salt) water (>5‰), the eggs hatch within a few hours. The nauplii, or larvae, are less than 0.4 mm in length when they first hatch. Brine Shrimps has a biological life cycle of one year.

Okay, so... NOW.... YOU KNOW. hahhaha. not to hypnotize/brainwashing you to not buy these things. Just for information. Knowledge is very important to a person. It reflects the personality of his/her. Yes, they are cute in figure but might not be a fortune worth wasting for unless you just love these things and not to worry of paying a sum of money continuously to keep them as pets. Rather buy a real pet like cats, dogs, birds, iguana or wtv it is than this. love and care them better. though, it's not so expensive... it's just can be considered as wasteful and un-useful item to keep. well, i'm not the judge here. i'm just here to give information. I, personally don't have a problem in keeping them. quite easy but might think twice about the regular costs. lol :D

Review: Secretariat

a very elevating and touching story on how a housewife decided to take over a family business on horse breeding after the passing of her mother and how she managed to claim the glory in her by a horse named Secretariat a.k.a Big Red. A movie worth watching and recommended for movie lovers and of course, horse lovers as well. It's just full of emotions in it. Happy, sad, dramatic, pumped. Well, you name it.. it's all in it. Okay, to add a little bit more spice.. It's a true story and she, Penny, the owner of Secretariat.. Lived to tell the tale. how brilliant and wonderful it is. Such amazing thing done by her and the horse too.

Verdict: 4.5/5

It claimed the rating by it's own ways of the story. this is not another frustrating, turned down or failed movie reached out to the box office. It's a movie with love, care and happiness in self, family and life. A round of applause. :)

2012: LEGOLAND MALAYSIA

Legoland Malaysia is set to open by early 2012 in Johor Bahru at Nusajaya, Iskandar Malaysia Economic Region. This will also be the first Legoland Theme Park in Asia and sixth in the world after Denmark, Britain, California, Florida and Germany. The massive 76-acre (31 hectare) project is brought together by IDR Resorts and UK based Merlin Entertainment costing a whopping RM750 million. The good news for those across the border is that is it will only be a 20 minute drive from the Tuas Second Link to Medini in Nusajaya which is one of five flagship zones of Iskandar Malaysia. This will be the biggest family entertainment project in Johor which will attract tourist from locally, Indonesia and also Singapore.

  

Among the attractions at Legoland Malaysia, there will be a gigantic replica of the Petronas Twin Towers, all built using Lego bricks and it will be the tallest Lego structure in the world. Replicas of famous landmarks from around the world such as India’s Taj Mahal, Beijing Bird’s Nest Stadium, Cambodia’s Angkor Wat and Singapore’s Merlion statue will also be featured, all made from Lego bricks. All the main structures will be located at Legoland’s Miniland. The theme park would also have famous buildings in Johor Baru, such as the Royal Museum, Sultan Abu Bakar Mosque and the Dataran Bandaraya clock tower. A total of 50 interactive rides will be available while an amazing amount of 30 million Lego Bricks are used throughout the park for building structures.  One thing I foresee is that many will capitalize on Travel and Tour Packages to Legoland Malaysia. Tour companies will take the opportunity to include this package for Malaysians, Singaporeans and Indonesians making the Southern region a worthy visit for holiday makers. Imagine spending 4-5 days around here where you get a chance to visit Singapore's Universal Studios, Sentosa Island and Legoland Johor in one visit where everything is just a drive away.

Ticket prices for Legoland have yet to be confirmed but the word out there is that it will be very affordable for a family of six people. The ticket price for an adult in Legoland California is around US$69 (RM210) per day so there are a lot of guesses on how it will be priced here in Malaysia. I am pretty sure that for the opening, there will be Family Package Tickets and promotional prices. The park is also targeting about 1.5 million visitors annually.

For family theme parks, there is also KidZania Kuala Lumpur at The Curve NX which is opening in December 2011. So there are a number of kids and family interactive theme parks in Malaysia now. I am hoping that this park opens in the first quarter of 2012 without any delays so that I can pay a visit here to fulfill a childhood bucket list. I am pretty sure that most of you would have had some experience playing with Lego in your younger days. I clearly remember my uncle from the UK who brought a massive Lego Box Set as a gift when I was about seven years old. That alone kept me busy for many years so you can imagine the thrill of visiting an entire park filled with these little colourful bricks. Till 2012, see you all at Legoland Malaysia.

dayuumm i'm so addicted to this game. like seriously. yeah, despite playin The Sims for so long, i think this one is by far the best. online game i refer to, yes. what made it good is the way they made the game is actually quite accurate to the real one. and it's nice that you can actually build, communicate and control everything to your creativity's end. reminds me that this is the best game that facebook ever made. lol yes, it can't beat the real game though. The Sims 3 is the current installation. i remember when i started playing The Sims. when was it like.. 10 years ago i think ? it's called The Sims. intro to a new way of game that allow people to create the life and do what is desired by them freely. yes, first one's not as good as now. the graphics, the freedom of doing things not really as real as reality. but, they did it. continued with expansion packs. i bought EVERY one of them. combined, combined and combined everything.

still remember, livin' large, hot date, vacation, pets and more. then it went to The Sims 2. better graphics, better things and more freedom. again, never stop playing and buying the expansion packs. The Sims 3 changed everything. wow, the graphics' good. yes, now the sun shines, the ponds have reflections, pools are better, cars are there, ageing is clearer than ever. and the critical one, your lifestyle. like partying ? like books ? evil ? whatever it is, do how you wanna do. live like what you dream to be or do. you feel the freedom as never did anywhere ever before. how cool is that. though i stopped buying the expansion packs, i still adore the game. any of you who never tried playing, it's time people. do it. i for sure recommend all of you to try. it's awesome.

so it's true. rumors' out and finally over. the so called NGP (Next Generation Portable) a.k.a PSP2 is finally introduced to the world by the poduct company, Sony. a lot of speculations and ideas were brought up by the 'hardcore' lovers of psp. it's awesome as it's imagined. to sum up, it's the best thing to have. very futuristic and yes, still postable. ;)

the Vita will be listed at $249 for the WiFi-only model, or $299 for the 3G version. Sony's Kaz Hirai confirmed will be available exclusively through AT&T, with both models shipping worldwide toward the end of 2011. For those of you camped out overseas, prices are set for ¥24,980 (WiFi) and ¥29,980 (3G) in Japan, while those closer to that other pond will see tags of €249 and €299.

The device, also known as the PS Vita, offers up six-axis motion sensors, dual analog controls (proper ones, with thumbsticks), front- and rear-facing cameras, an OLED touchscreen, and a touchpad on the back, too. The company showed off a number of top-tier titles, including Uncharted: Golden Abyss, a hack-and-slash RPG called Ruin, a new ModNation Racers, LittleBigPlanet, and Street Fighter x Tekken, each showing off plenty of motion and touch interactivity... things that we couldn't be more elated to try for ourselves in due time. They're all looking quite good, and honestly a bit more advanced than what the 3DS has delivered so far -- for the same money.

it's like the new age of The Sopranos. they are the biker gang called Sons of Anarchy aka S.O.A of SAMCRO. they supply guns, they protect their territories, go to "war". There are the Mayans and the Niners too, as their enemies. It's very interesting and quite violent :)

im now watching the second season. it's getting better and better to each episodes and im sooo into this series. lol haha so cool weh. i suggest u fellas out there to watch this series if u are a fan of gangsterism.this show contains murder, fights, language and bit of sexual stuffs. so u get the picture right.. nothing else to say, till next post baby. hasta la vista ;D
