Apple = Steve Jobs. Where The Story Began .

INNOVATIVE design has always driven Apple forward. With computers, they have gone from the boxy Apple II via the compact Macintosh Plus and stylish iBook laptop to the current-day iMac. The iPod was born in 2001, followed by the iPhone in 2007 and the iPad in April 2010. The iCloud storage system is set to be a future hit.

It is the latest chapter in what is an extraordinary life story.

Jobs was born on February 24, 1955, in San Francisco, to Abdulfattah Jandali, a Syrian student and later political scientist now known as John, and Joanne Carole Schieble. It was the 1950s and the couple were young and unmarried so the baby boy was adopted by Paul and Clara Jobs. He retold his adoption story during a now famous address to Stanford University in the US in 2005.

He said: "My biological mother was a young, unwed college graduate student and she decided to put me up for adoption.

"She felt very strongly that I should be adopted by college graduates, so everything was all set for me to be adopted at birth by a lawyer and his wife. "Except that when I popped out, they decided at the last minute that they really wanted a girl.

"So my parents, who were on a waiting list, got a call in the middle of the night asking, 'We have an unexpected baby boy - do you want him?' They said, 'Of course'.

"My biological mother later found out that my mother had never graduated from college and that my father had never graduated from high school. She refused to sign the final adoption papers. She only relented a few months later when my parents promised that I would someday go to college."

Jobs grew up in the town of Mountain View, California, among the fruit orchards that would one day become the technology hub Silicon Valley.

A(pple) team ... Steve Jobs with co-founder Steve Wozniak

The Bob Dylan fan showed an early interest in electronics. As a teenager he phoned William Hewlett, president of computer firm Hewlett-Packard, to ask for parts for a school project. He also landed a summer job with the firm where, as a 14-year-old in 1969, he befriended 19-year-old engineer Steve Wozniak.

Wozniak remembered: "We talked electronics, we talked about music we liked and we traded stories about pranks we'd pulled. "Typically, it was really hard for me to explain to people the kind of design stuff I worked on, but Steve got it right away. And I liked him. He was kind of skinny and wiry and full of energy." Jobs' parents then funded studies at Reed College, Oregon.

But despite his biological mother's wish for him to complete a college education, the future billionaire dropped out after just six months, later claiming it was "one of the best decisions I ever made". After spending time sleeping on friends' floors, he became interested in Eastern mysticism and took mind-altering drug LSD.

He said the acid trips were "one of the two or three most important things" he had done in his life. He began working for video game makers Atari before embarking on a spiritual trek to India. Aged 20, he took over his parents' garage and started Apple, copying the name of the record label of his beloved Beatles.

Groundbreaking ... Steve Jobs with Apple's Macintosh Plus in 1984

A year later, in 1976, Jobs and Wozniak designed the Apple I. In contrast to the firm's now obsessive design detail, the Apple I had no keyboard or display monitor and customers had to assemble it themselves. More models followed before the Macintosh became a 1980s sales hit. But Jobs was a hard taskmaster and clashed frequently with colleagues. He was ousted from Apple in 1986 following internal power struggles and a slump in sales.

However, by 1996 he was back at the then-struggling firm, which had come close to going under. In 2001, Jobs masterminded the launch of the iPod, which revolutionised portable music and kick-started Apple's commercial comeback. The firm have now sold more than 300million iPods.

Away from Apple, Jobs married Laurene Powell in 1991 in a Zen Buddhist ceremony. They have three children and Jobs has another born in 1978 to a San Francisco painter. Despite his huge professional success, Jobs has long been dogged by ill health. He was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2003 and had surgery to remove a tumour.

Nice (i)Pad ... California home where Jobs founded Apple with Steve Wozniak

In 2009 he underwent a liver transplant - a possible consequence of the cancer drugs - but after taking time out to recover, he returned to the helm at Apple. It is Jobs' extraordinary vision and courage that has enabled him to revolutionise technology.

He once said: "Don't let the noise of other's opinions drown out your own inner voice. "Have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become." On the release of the iPhone in 2007, Jobs insisted the handsets were "revolutionary and magical". His genius at branding and promotion has helped Apple sell more than 100million iPhones worldwide. Despite Jobs' track record with the iPod and iPhone, many failed to see the potential of Apple's tablet computer, the iPad. Critics panned it as little more than an "enlarged iPhone" when it was launched in April 2010.

But Jobs was not for turning and Apple are expected to sell more than 44million iPads in 2011 alone having seen it establish itself as the go-to digital platform for newspapers, magazines and video. On August 9, Apple briefly surpassed ExxonMobil to become the world's most valuable company. Google chairman Eric Schmidt said of Jobs yesterday: "He uniquely combined an artist's touch and an engineer's vision to build an extraordinary company - one of the greatest American leaders in history."

Stephen Fry, a long-time admirer of Jobs, said: "I don't think there is another human being on the planet who has been more influential in the last 30 years on the way culture has developed." In June - returning from open-ended medical leave - Jobs launched the iCloud, a system that can store all electronic content wirelessly on Apple servers and "push" them to your devices.

It is a typical piece of Steve Jobs innovation - daring, groundbreaking and a technology that could soon be in every home. Jobs may have stepped down from Apple's frontline, but his spirit of innovation will still be what drives the company into the future.

"Spider-dog, Spider-dog. does whatever Spider-dog does. Can he swing from a web ? no he can't, he's a dog. look oouuut he's the Spider-dog". LMAO. :))

how bout this one, Hot Dog ;P

APPLE boss Steve Jobs sensationally RESIGNED as the company's chief executive last night.

The computer genius, 55, has been on medical leave since January 17 for an undisclosed condition. The announcement will raise inevitable speculation about his long-term health.Jobs wrote in his resignation letter: "I have always said if there ever came a day when I could no longer meet my duties and expectations as Apple's CEO, I would be the first to let you know."Unfortunately, that day has come."But the super-boffin, who co-founded the tech giant in a garage in 1976, will remain as chairman.Jobs battled pancreatic cancer in 2004 and had a liver transplant in 2007.

Apple quickly announced his successor would be Tim Cook, the company's Chief Operating Officer.Jobs added in his letter: "I believe Apple's brightest and most innovative days are ahead of it. And I look forward to watching and contributing to its success in a new role.

i have made some of the best friends of my life at Apple, and I thank you all for the many years of being able to work alongside you. "Jobs also oversaw the firm's renaissance with the iPod, iPhone and iPad.Industry analyst Ashok Kumar said Jobs' timing of his resignation was worrying for the firm's future. He said: "It's just ahead of the iPhone 5 release. The fact he is stepping down now is not a good sign."

Cook joined Apple in 1998. As operating chief, his oversight included sales, manufacturing and distribution."The the world will see in the next several years that Tim is a very uniquely gifted guy and Apple will be wildly successful under his leadership," said John Connors, a venture capitalist at Ignition Partners, who serves on the Nike Inc. board with Cook.

Top 10 Fattest Footballers

i used to call him teddy bear. still do though. in fact, my whole family do. lol because HE IS FAT. undeniable. when it comes to a question,"which ronaldo?" then the answer should be "Teddy Bear Ronaldo not Cristiano Ronaldo" ha ha ha. i adore him, i do. he is the best i've seen in my early years of living. plus, what makes him special is that he's the first i've seen tearing down the goal post when i started knowing football and FIFA world cup. that was epic. he scored hell of goals and managed to lead to the trophy itself all the way. still remember. Brazil was awesome back then. with him, Roberto Carlos, Cafu, Rivaldo, Dida, Juninho and few more i can't recall. a round of applause to them ppl. :)

the thing is, he started flunking out since then. he gained weight, had problems, lost place in a good team, moving from spain back to his roots and in the end, M.I.A . only after that, he bounced a bit for a while and played with Corinthians and retired in the end early this year. sad to know he did so. but, understand the circumstances please. his conditions. he's ageing and moreover +++ size. he had his time. simply a legend to me. go ronaldo. awesome guy with buck teeth and wacky hairstyle (recall 2002 world cup) lol --"

well, moving on. below is the ascending order of top 10 fattest footballers ever known. enjoy ;P

10. Mark Bosnich - When the big Aussie wasn't getting into trouble for snorting the white stuff, he was piling on the pounds. Bosnich said he never liked training and it showed as he added his P45 to collection of honours.

9. Mido - Some journeymen have more clubs than most have hot dinners but it's obvious this wasn't the case for the Egyptian. He evidently has a taste for the game, having played at 11 different clubs but his appetite for food seems even larger.

8. Adriano - The former Inter Milan frontman once had defenders tossing and turning in their sleep. Now the only people losing sleep are his club Corinthians as the big Brazilian looks to control his weight. Once quoted saying "I eat a lot of salad", Corinthians will be hoping he scores like he lies.

7. Benni McCarthy - Big Ben recently criticised Karren Brady, calling her "the devil with a pair of t*ts" after she slated his ballooning weight and said his signing was a mistake. Brady hit back at McCarthy saying "at least I'm supposed to have t*ts".

6. Neville Southall - The Everton legend returned to help Premier League new boys Bradford back in 2000 when City had a keeper crisis. At 41 and about three stone overweight, 'Big Nev' lived up to his nickname.

5. Paul Gascoigne - Larger than life Gazza was never one to shy away from the spotlight. Unfortunately for the England legend, he was never one to shy away from pork pies, beer and kebabs either.

4. Neil Ruddock - 'Razor' should have tried to shave off a few pounds as his contract with Swindon was terminated for him being over 15 stone. A lot of respect to the chap at Swindon who had to tell him the news. Rather him than me...

3. Willie 'Fatty' Foulke - The former Sheffield United and Chelsea keeper once snapped a crossbar clean in two. Weighing 24 stone we're not too surprised either. He also infamously chased referee Tom Kirkham after the 1902 FA Cup final, wearing nothing but his Birthday Suit. Fat chance he caught him.

2. Maradona - The Hand of God was soon the main accessory to help Argentine legend Diego Maradona shovel food into his giant gob. His favourite dish unfortunately isn't humble pie but we believe revenge is a dish best served cold.

1.Ronaldo - The chunky Brazilian tops our chart as the fattest footballer. Two World Cup's and three World Player of the Year awards weren't the only thing under Ronaldo's belt as his stomach was too vast to hide. He eventually lost his battle with the bulge and retired due to his size in February of this year.

teddy bear, chubby, fatso, ball chunk or what ever it is you call them, they fought for their names, their reputations and for their country/club/self name to be this successful. but one thing they can't fight is age facts. irregular practices in diet habit, workouts and health condition affects the physical staggeringly due to increasing age. scientifically speaking, metabolism level in decreasing, generative cells, agility, strength and so on too are depleting, consumed together with our age as we raise the numbers. especially for sportsmen, it's hard to maintain because all the excessive and strain workouts, trainings and other athletic stuffs done during the 'younger' days must be continue forward making sure that the body doesn't feel the big impact of inactive days oncoming . well, not that hard though.. just do a bit of running or walking daily and it would stay put. literally at least.

The Sims Social

dayuumm i'm so addicted to this game. like seriously. yeah, despite playin The Sims for so long, i think this one is by far the best. online game i refer to, yes. what made it good is the way they made the game is actually quite accurate to the real one. and it's nice that you can actually build, communicate and control everything to your creativity's end. reminds me that this is the best game that facebook ever made. lol yes, it can't beat the real game though. The Sims 3 is the current installation. i remember when i started playing The Sims. when was it like.. 10 years ago i think ? it's called The Sims. intro to a new way of game that allow people to create the life and do what is desired by them freely. yes, first one's not as good as now. the graphics, the freedom of doing things not really as real as reality. but, they did it. continued with expansion packs. i bought EVERY one of them. combined, combined and combined everything.

still remember, livin' large, hot date, vacation, pets and more. then it went to The Sims 2. better graphics, better things and more freedom. again, never stop playing and buying the expansion packs. The Sims 3 changed everything. wow, the graphics' good. yes, now the sun shines, the ponds have reflections, pools are better, cars are there, ageing is clearer than ever. and the critical one, your lifestyle. like partying ? like books ? evil ? whatever it is, do how you wanna do. live like what you dream to be or do. you feel the freedom as never did anywhere ever before. how cool is that. though i stopped buying the expansion packs, i still adore the game. any of you who never tried playing, it's time people. do it. i for sure recommend all of you to try. it's awesome.

The Sims. truly awesome. :D

controversial case: JAIS RAID.

Soalan kuiz Islam yang diberikan kepada peserta yang hadir. Majlis tersebut disyaki bertujuan untuk menarik orang Islam kerana terdapat ciri-ciri tarikan seperti ;
agamanya. Jawapan beliau adalah - 'I believe in God' (mengikut cara kristian dan gereja)
