Terengganu's favourite keropok lekor has made its way into the Malaysia Book of Records. All 479m of the traditional snack was showcased at the Bank Rakyat Carnival held at the Dataran Shahbandar on Saturday. The keropok was made in three days using 1,200kg of flour and several types of fish.

Malaysia Book of Records representative Leona Paul said: “It broke the previous record of 200m displayed during the Pesta Terengganu in 2006. So this 479m of keropok lekor truly deserves its place in the record books.”

Over 20 people from the Industri Keropok Warisan Sdn Bhd led by managing director Mohd Zaman Muda and 20 students from Universiti Teknologi Mara students took part in preparing the keropok.
