New Stadium Design.

The State Government will commence the construction of a new stadium at Bukit Merbau,Pasir Puteh in early March next year with a unique concept of the stadium with the mosque.

Chairman of the Economic Planning, Finance and the Welfare State, Datuk Husam Musa said, the main committee in the construction of sports complexes and stadiums selecteddeveloper will be appointed at the end of December. "In early March next year, preparatory work will be initiated at the state-owned land to avoid land acquisition costs. Some of the sports complex project for and partly for commercial purposes to cover the cost of building the new stadium.

"The State Government intends to use the 49.2 hectares of land in Bukit Merbau inspired by chief minister's own design ideas," he said when replying to Ahmad Baihaqi Atiqulah (PAS-Pasir Tumboh) to ask questions the date of the first phase of the new Stadium began. Husam said the concept of the stadium along with the mosque was a favorite of sports and religious consolidation that line.

Prior to this, Chief Minister, Datuk Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat, as he announced the construction of the stadium, said the proposed sports complex is open to any developer to send the proposal on the basis of BOT construction, operation and transfer.

it was an awesome night. yes i can say that. even the whole ipohites would sat that. we enjoyed ourselves there watching the so called biggest event of the year in ipoh. those pics up there were the participants of the schools' marching bands. sorry can't tell the name cuz i forgot. haha =.= what i really love was the fellow SMI supporters. haha ROFL. hell yeah we had fun. the only supporters that was 'sporting'. can ask anyone there. we shouted loud and clear since the beginning. yes, before the night, we fellow Michaelians were adviced and told by the disciplinary teacher and even the head master NOT TO CAUSE TROUBLE WHEN GOING THERE or we'll be disqualified. closes and best example is BOOING. hahaha yeah, we booed. a lot to be truthful. and we don't even bother about disqualification thingy. cuz i think they won't do it. haha first contestant, Nan Hwa was booed the most. we all shouted; boo sama dia! *booo* sekaali lagi! *boo*. tiu sama dia ! *tiuuuu* omg i laugh like hell xD. then when one school was throwing the stick up, all of us shouted; drop it! drop it! when dropped, we all clapped and laugh. LOL. haha. then when Sam Tet was marching in front of the SMI porch; yes, we have special porch for Michaelians :) we all booed and saw our MMB members, and started shouting SMI! SMI! again and again. and when they went to the field, we shout out the school rally out loud. wow that was fun. then we all made the mexican wave right to left, left to right, down to up. then suddenly someone shouted; okay now jump down the porch! then all stood up! ROFL. idiots x) i really wish ya'll could see the what happened there. i recorded the performance but i just can't upload the thing to youtube. it says an error occured. sorry guys. it's okay even though we got second but we did the best. and all of the Michaelians were there to witness it. i am proud of it. Stadium Sultan Mizan RUNTUH !

just this morning, the stadium in Gong Badak, Terengganu collapsed. people still in shocked. about 70% of the structure was collapsed. it happened around 8am. no death was reported. so sad it was just built nearly 2 years ago. please repair it for the sake of the athletes.. and the environment, not forgetting of course.. well, It's weird. not less that a week ago, a building in Petaling Jaya collapsed too.what is happening to our buildings ? make an investigation please.. contractors, have a word on these... tell us what's wrong...
