wish me & my team-mates a goddamn luck :O

representing SMK St. Michael, Ipoh with 2 teams divided into 2 groups of A & B which will go against schools across Malaysia by the total of 96 of them. sounds awesome.. but in the same time GODDDDD IT'S SO FREAKIN SCARY. nervous weh. all 21 motions were given on April 10th, 2 days ago. it's quite okay but challenging. mostly abt HSE (health, safety, environtment) all schools were given 2 weeks ONLY to prepare and discuss regarding the motions. all motions will be used time to time until the grand final. brrr... even as the reserve, i do feel the heat. all of us gotta play a role. with that only we can make it to final. but the thing is this year is a bit tricky. all schools will be given a "chance" if they lost instead of being disqualified. 4 debates will be held during the prelims. and will be ranked according the total of winnings and losings. so out of 96, only top 16 will make it to the next round which is the octofinals. im hoping that we could do well and at least make it to octofinals/quarterfinals. but it's better to go to semis or final itself. it'll be an honour to do so. jyeahh. imma try and do my best in this thing. again, wish us good luck. thanks :D

Shooting film in SMI.

here in ipoh, my school St. Michael Institution was chosen as shooting spot for the next movie of the well known director; Bernard Chauly who directed Goodbye Boys, Gol & Gincu and the latest, Pisau Cukur. all of them were good. i liked it. oh, if you realized, Goodbye Boys were also taken in SMI. it was about the 02 Kinta Scout from St. Michael. it was a pride to all Michaelians. This year, another movie shot in smi made Michaelians felt awesome !

for 5 days they stayed in SMI for shooting. this movie is about Syabil Karthigesu, a nurse who was detained by the japanese during the Japan Occupation. it is an interesting story on how she was kept and tortured by them. she was a famous person back in time. well, i dont know much about this but it sounds wonderful.

said them, it's 58% done by now. so soon, it'll be released for theaters ! make sure you dont miss it. well, i peeked from above in my class, i was excited that i can actually see what's goin on there. i saw she was dragged out of car with bruises and bloods on her face. cool :) i wanna stay there during recess before, but i was chased away by the prefects and teachers. grrr can't i at least experience shooting moments? lol :P this would be the first time im seeing a shooting live :D whee~ hm, but it's a bit sad that Syabil Karthigesu wasn't known much among the people here and elsewhere in malaysia.. maybe with this way, it'll work. hopefully.

ahaha me, farris daniel as a flower boy ? funny rite. well, just trying my luck with flowers.. MY FIRST TIME MAN ! tell me, is it okay ? for a beginner laa... hahah x) i decided to join flower arrangement for the smi's speech day cuz like i said, trying. second, cuz i want to do something on behalf of the smi's debators club. pity, no one wants to participate. so i jambu-ly raised my hand saying "take me lah mr. rajan." he said "oh, okay good good. so u and joel ahh.." so happy. haha kesian that fella asking, but all kept quite and slowly hiding their hands. haha.. im a bit blurred in the beginning. donno what to do. so i started by cutting the flower half to make it shorter. joel arranged in the beginning. then after done cutting, i got some kind of idea.. and it helped a lot.. haha together, we made the flower looked beautiful ;D yeah, we didn't win.. but at least, an experience would do... rite ? so, with that, i've planned, base on what the other participants had done.. i might be returning as the flower boy, again next year.. for a spot, yeah ! haha hoping to win ;D cuz i felt like it brings joy by doing this arranging thingy.. haha.

SMI sports day

all went well, with the marching band, class formation marching and etc. this is my first sports day in SMI.. started to know more people... cool. anyway, great job guys for keeping the sports day in schedule perfectly.

ohh how exciting to debate. i love it. :)
but what is happening now, my school, SMI,
kept loosing to other schools lately..
why ? it's not like we're suck or whatever the word is...
the reason is, the adjudicators..
i can see that they're buyers !
arghhh soo pissed off.
we, SMI, debated awesomely, but the result always goes to the opponents.
the adjudicators somehow acted NON-professionally..
especially Mr. ****.. kept talking crap..
but nevermind, we still have hope :)
HELP UNIVERSITY COLLEGE DEBATE !! :D
we must win that.
first round begins next week, April 14th.
