Step Up Revolution.

quite different than the previous installments, this time it's about flash mobs. current trend worldwide right ? not bad. this time, they don't really focus on contest or something. more on voicing out. though, i don't see the voicing out thing until the last quarter of the movie. oh, maybe the way they present they dance moves or the scenes they show didn't really portray they right message like they try to voice out. the plot's quite confused if you ask me. the songs and dance moves for this sequel totally not impressing me. they could've done better. lack of ideas already i suppose ? idk. but okay la, can enjoy watch them dance if you love dancing stuffs.

Verdict: 3/5.

Movie Reviews

okay, so these are the movies i'd watched so far for the past 3 days. lol free time ? study week guys. study week. got nothing else to do. time to enjoy myself with what's left for these past few months i'd missed since starting classes in UiTM. thank god my dad installed the new internet plan, i could just download these blu-ray rip movies in less than a day. hoyehh. well, more movies to come.. so, the review ? okay.

First, The Dictator. ya'll might notice the song i'm playing now.. that, is the OST from the movie. yeah, sounds stupid. hahahha xD okay, if you guys wanna watch this.. the muslims especially.. try to be open minded. it's just a joke. and no, i don't see anything beyond sensitivity in here. it's funny ! really. despite the govts in a few countries.. including Malaysia, decided to ban this movie. it's nice. you guys should watch if you feel like having a humorous atmosphere. Verdict: 4/5

Now, Prometheus. okay obviously it's a Sci-Fi movie. maybe it doesn't give out a good action but this movie, definitely give you a hard time thinking what's the purpose, why would they do this and that, what'll be the outcome. it's actually an adventurous movie. you'll crave for answers. no, i don't want to spoil no movie.. so you guys should watch it. Verdict ? 3/5

Safe. what does that have any relation to the movie ? idk either. but it's a very good action movie. about an ex cop, trying to free himself out of misery.. stumbled apon a girl who might change is day. yes, i'm bad in giving out a synopsis. lol so i recommend you to watch it to know the details. it's good. verdict: 4/5

Red Tails ? if you like planes, shooting.. watch it. it's nice. it's about a group of Negro airforce army struggling to be a part of the war in WWII. it's good. Verdict: 3/5

ahh yes, Red Lights. stunning. love magic ? do watch it. love to know what's behind magic or the "conspiracy" in it ? yes go on. it's about a scientific study trying to find/prove the truth of magic or simply to indicate whether they are a true people with powers or just a lame fraud. nice movie. recommended. Verdict: 4/5

Alas, The Cabin In The Woods. if you think this is another cliche of a serial killer movie ? think again. well, it does have a few elements in it. but it'll make you think again. it's an okay movie. not too good, not too bad. but there's always a surprise element in it. watch to know more. Verdict: 3/5

Review: Secretariat

a very elevating and touching story on how a housewife decided to take over a family business on horse breeding after the passing of her mother and how she managed to claim the glory in her by a horse named Secretariat a.k.a Big Red. A movie worth watching and recommended for movie lovers and of course, horse lovers as well. It's just full of emotions in it. Happy, sad, dramatic, pumped. Well, you name it.. it's all in it. Okay, to add a little bit more spice.. It's a true story and she, Penny, the owner of Secretariat.. Lived to tell the tale. how brilliant and wonderful it is. Such amazing thing done by her and the horse too.

Verdict: 4.5/5

It claimed the rating by it's own ways of the story. this is not another frustrating, turned down or failed movie reached out to the box office. It's a movie with love, care and happiness in self, family and life. A round of applause. :)

Review: Sucker Punch

Verdict: 3½ / 5 rating.

If you love Charlie's Angels, then definitely you'll love this movie. Action and visual effects wise.. Great. though, compiling with drama and slow-paced plot reduced the thriller or should i say.. the 'wow' factor. The reason why i said something about Charlie's Angel is that when the action starts, it always goes by the same way... a brief by a man, quite resembles to the Charlie's Angel scenes but it goes by with fantasy effects. The plot is OKAY, though. great story shown but too slow, raising a sense of boredom to it. The BG music is good, song choice is great. kudos to that. My say is that it's a movie should watch if you love fantasy style action-shooting, love watching HOT babes in action and just love dramas for bit. well, that's the the thing :)

Review: Grown Ups

A movie features Adam Sandler, Kevin James, Chris Rock, David Spade, and Rob Schneider about how they reunite after 30 years since their championship in elementary school basketball by the passing of their coach. nice thing about it is how they were all grown up, married and have children, gathered up on one weekend and have all the joy and laughter. seriously, it's a nice classic comedy movie with nice funny jokes. well, it's Adam Sandler you're talking about right ? haha. well, 4/5 rating i'll give. A round of applause to them. 

Sequel Hantu Kak Limah Balik Rumah

The Green Lantern

rating: 3/5

WHY: the reason why i'm giving 3/5 is not because the movie sucked but mainly because the plot. first off, the director could've done better. too much to tell, too little time. it became packed and unenjoyable as much as i had anticipated myself, excited to watch this. this is, though.. a good movie. but when they waste time trying to go from the beginning on who is Hal Jordan, what does he do, how he get the ring, how he manage the powers and how he saved the world. it's mouth full ! seriously. graphics such as CGI and screen shots are okay, good enough.

VERDICT: it's an OKAY movie. would watch the sequel if there's any. be more excited if is directed by Michael Bay/ J.J Abrams.

Robin Hood Review

very medieval indeed. great story, great actors, good script, good intro for ppl who know nuts bout robin hood. i like the war, the costumes and the scenes. the director just know what to do and what's best. awesome.

not really what i've expected for a sequal from a "wow" movie of the first. simply said this is because the whole thing like a moderately okay. the director somehow like trying to consume every idea he got for the scenes into a movie of one rather than just cut the crap and put on the important ones only. so this leads to a confusing or to say messy plot of a movie. some scenes should've been skipped and focus more on the action scenes. plus, a lot of drama in this one. too much if you ask me. they took a lot of time just to follow up with the past, flash backs and stuffs. yeahh, stark was trying to build himself up again after his life is on the dot. but shouldn't made it too long to tell. and see, it ends up with a simple shot of a syringe and a help from nick fury with stark's dad stuffs. not forgetting with the action scene. where the fight between him and whiplash. i don't really like it cuz it's too short ! with war machine helping.. it's not like a one-on-one fight. not a versus. and easily end it with a teamed up beam blast. that's it. so nothing much. to count the times stark meeting whiplash is only twice. monaco and the expo. so, if the third installment is coming in soon or later... please i beg you make a change =.= should be better like how transformers did. and oh, get Mandarin as the villain ! it'll be freaking awesome :D

Shooting film in SMI.

here in ipoh, my school St. Michael Institution was chosen as shooting spot for the next movie of the well known director; Bernard Chauly who directed Goodbye Boys, Gol & Gincu and the latest, Pisau Cukur. all of them were good. i liked it. oh, if you realized, Goodbye Boys were also taken in SMI. it was about the 02 Kinta Scout from St. Michael. it was a pride to all Michaelians. This year, another movie shot in smi made Michaelians felt awesome !

for 5 days they stayed in SMI for shooting. this movie is about Syabil Karthigesu, a nurse who was detained by the japanese during the Japan Occupation. it is an interesting story on how she was kept and tortured by them. she was a famous person back in time. well, i dont know much about this but it sounds wonderful.

said them, it's 58% done by now. so soon, it'll be released for theaters ! make sure you dont miss it. well, i peeked from above in my class, i was excited that i can actually see what's goin on there. i saw she was dragged out of car with bruises and bloods on her face. cool :) i wanna stay there during recess before, but i was chased away by the prefects and teachers. grrr can't i at least experience shooting moments? lol :P this would be the first time im seeing a shooting live :D whee~ hm, but it's a bit sad that Syabil Karthigesu wasn't known much among the people here and elsewhere in malaysia.. maybe with this way, it'll work. hopefully.

All of that jives with our 2007 report in which our scooper told us, “Jerry Bruckheimer could be planning to enter the realm of Science Fiction this time around.” More specifically, “Some of the brainstorming going around involves some Jules Verne type of scenarios.” In fact our scooper even hinted at Captain Nemo as one of the villains.

wow, i was glued to the seat when watching the movie. purely amazing. it's fully action-packed from the beginning till end ! great graphics, great plot, great sounds, great battle. EVERYTHING IS GREAT!

it's totally different from the first, as it's more serious this time, as in focusing more about the story. this time, there's happy times, sad times, combined together. which made this movie is the best. PLEASE HURRY UP AND WATCH ! U'LL REGRET IF U DON'T ! I SWEAR IT'S TRUE. michael bay is such a genius. wow ! i love it damn much ! can't stop thinking abt it until now.. i can bet, u all will keep on watching this movie again and again cuz it's bloody good ! hahaha i said that cuz it's gona happen to me too.. haha x)

BANK robber John Dillinger was the first crook declared America's Public Enemy No1.

Now the tale of the charismatic criminal is coming to the big screen in a film called Public Enemies, and JOHNNY DEPP - who plays Dillinger - says: "Some people might disagree, but I think he was a real-life Robin Hood."

The movie, which is out on July 1, also stars Welsh-born CHRISTIAN BALE as FBI Agent Melvin Purvis, who hunted Dillinger down, MARION COTILLARD as Dillinger's girlfriend Billie Frechette, and Liverpudlian actor STEPHEN GRAHAM as the gangster's sidekick Baby Face Nelson.

the new Star Trek movie directed by J.J Abrams is on screen NOW from 7th May which will take u to 2387. maybe most of u would say "nahh, im not a trekkie fan, why should i watch?" and "Star Trek SUCKS !". yeah, i knoww, but this time it's different ! TOTALLY. J.J Abrams, who brought u hit tv show Alias and Lost is directing. so, it's gonna be great ! with fresh new characters like Zachary Quinto (Sylar), and Chris Pine, John Cho(Harold) and some other good actors/actresses. so, i suggest all of u NOT to miss this movie. it's gonna be awesome. yeah, im watching too soon, this weekend maybee. ;D

Friday The 13th is BACK!

Returning to the story that started it all, this retelling of the original "Friday the 13th" heads back to summer camp where a mysterious killer is systematically slaughtering the teenage camp counselors. Michael Bay and Texas Chain Massacre are the directors. It will be released on Friday the 13th of February 2009.

Don Cheadle replaces Terrence Howard in Iron Man 2

Don Cheadle is stepping in to replace Terrence Howard in Iron Man 2, Marvel Studios' sequel to its summer blockbuster.

In the movie, Howard played Jim Rhodes, Tony Stark/Iron Man's best friend and future
armor-clad hero War Machine. One scene featured Howard looking at a silver suit of armor and saying "Next time," a line that caused great delight for fans.But there will be no next time for Howard.

Marvel had no comment, but sources close to the deal said negotiations with Howard fell through over financial differences, among other reasons. Marvel, which had wanted to work with Cheadle, then decided to take the role in another direction and approached the actor, who is shooting Antoine Fuqua's "Brooklyn's Finest" with Richard Gere and Ethan Hawke.

Rhodes is expected to play a larger part in the sequel, which is rumored to go beyond high-tech villains. Justin Theroux is writing the screenplay.

Jon Favreau is returning as director, and Robert Downey Jr. is expected back as billionaire industrialist Stark/Iron Man. Gwyneth Paltrow also is expected to be back as Stark's assistant, Pepper Potts.

Release date is announced to be on May 2010.

Tranformers 2: Revenge Of The Fallen

As expected, the name alludes to a plot point, with the filmmakers telling fans to “expect a key character from the first movie to make a dramatic comeback and attempt to settle a score.” One could assume they’re most likely referencing Megatron, the Decepticon leader who was unceremoniously destroyed after the film’s climactic city-wrecking battle. In nerd-verse, Megatron is transformed into Galvatron after making a deal for his resurrection with planet-sized robot Unicron.



















Arcee has been revealed to be a 2006 Buell Firebolt for the upcoming sequel. This Autobot should've been in the first installment of the Transformers, but was replaced with Iron Hide.

Jetfire has been revealed to be a SR-71 Blackbird for the upcoming sequel.
